This front entrance renovation was designed to introduce a refined, vintage aesthetic with bold, timeless details. The existing railings were removed, and a wall at the top of the stairs was taken down to open up the space and create a more welcoming flow through the home.

The staircase and wainscoting were meticulously repaired and refinished in Black Caviar, adding contrast and depth. New custom railings were installed and paired with a classic patterned stair runner, creating a sophisticated focal point that complements the home’s traditional charm.

The highlight of the renovation is the statement black-and-white porcelain tile flooring laid throughout the foyer — a striking design choice that ties together the vintage character of the space with modern craftsmanship.
